The Natick Education Foundation is a non-profit volunteer organi-
zation, founded in 1990 and dedicated to enriching, enhancing
and supporting public education in Natick, Massachusetts. This
site provides information about the NEF, our activities, meetings
and events, and ways that you can support Natick's public schools
through the NEF.

NEF Runners are Safe and Sound
Our two runners, Kim Ching and Karen Corburn, were 6 blocks from the finish line when the bombs went off on Monday. They were turned around at that point. Both Kim and Karen were having a fantastic run—feeling strong and excited to be so close to the finish—when the race was stopped. They were understandably shaken up emotionally but physically fine. NEF is so proud of the work that Kim and Karen put in to train for the race and raise money to support the work of NEF. There is still plenty of time to show your support to our runners—they still need to raise about $3000 to meet their fund-raising goal. Please consider making a financial contribution today. And, most importantly, thank you Kim and Karen—you are the best!
