Announcing TEDx Natick

Has anyone ever mentioned a “great TED talk” they just heard? Have you ever wanted to know more about TED and its “inspiring ideas”? Have you ever wondered what it might be like to listen to inspiring speakers like this right in our own community? Or maybe you’re not even familiar with TED talks, or TEDx events. Well, I have exciting news!

Natick is hosting the first ever TEDxNatick event on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Natick High School! (

The Natick Education Foundation Board is working with a small group of volunteers to pull off what we hope will be an on-going event. We are in the preliminary stages of organizing this half-day event, calling out for speakers and activities that will comprise the day but we need your help.

Please help us get the word out to the Natick community and beyond. We also are looking for a few more partners to make this happen. We believe that Natick will be the first suburban TEDx event in this area. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Town of Natick!

TEDxNatick’s theme is “Stories that Inspire”. We will bring in 8-10 speakers whose stories and ideas can inspire us all. We also will open auditions to local students and community members to fill other speaking slots for the day (further details coming through the website:
